I am so lucky to be doing an internship in Washington, D.C. for the summer of 2009 with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. I am one of the 24 selected students to participate in the best internship that one could ever imagine. CHCI internship pays for housing-board and room, round-trip travel expenses, $2,500 total gross stipend, placed in a Congressional Office, and weekly leadership development sessions.
